You Have a Question, We Have an Answer.

Does Boston Market at Home share coupons?

Yes! We offer various coupons throughout the year. Keep an eye out for these coupons in local flyers, special sales or promotions at your local grocery store. Also, check this website periodically for coupons.

Help! I followed the cooking instructions and my Boston Market at Home meal is still a little too cold.

Microwave ovens vary in power, so you may need to heat it for a bit longer. If your entrée is still cold, continue to heat in 30-second increments until it is thoroughly cooked to 165°F.

Is it safe to heat and eat my Boston Market at Home entrée once it is thawed?

Unfortunately, you should always toss out frozen meals if they completely thaw. Depending on the time and temperature of the thawing process, the quality and food safety of any frozen product might be compromised. But please grab another frozen meal, heat it up and enjoy!

Can I recycle or reuse my Boston Market at Home packaging?

You can recycle all of Boston Market at Home’s packaging materials, including the trays. If you would like more information, please ask your local recycling, solid waste, environment or public works department. They can explain the recycling options in your area.

We do not recommend that the tray be reused or reheated. It was not designed to be a permanent container.

Do you have any gluten-free Boston Market at Home products?

We don’t claim that any of our products are gluten free. Individual sensitivity to gluten varies, and we can’t be sure that gluten is not present in our products, even those that are rice based.

Why did your packaging change? How has the food changed? Did anything else change?

We’ve been working hard to improve our products to better meet the needs of our valued consumers. Our chefs have been hard at work in the kitchen upgrading our proteins to ensure the highest quality and most delicious taste. We’ve enhanced our gravy and sauce recipes while eliminating non-favorable ingredients from all Boston Market grocery products so that you can feel great about serving our amazing home-style meals.

Our products contain:

- No high fructose corn syrup
- No partially hydrogenated oils
- No monosodium glutamate (MSG)
- No artificial colors and flavors

We’ve also updated our graphics to reflect the exciting product updates. We made the package brighter so you can more easily find our brand and your favorite variety on shelf.

What causes ice crystals to form on top of the product?

Ice crystals occur naturally on frozen products. Excessive ice crystals, or a snowy appearance, may result from fluctuations in storage temperature.

I prefer a divided tray. Can you change the packaging back to the way it was?

We heard from many customers that they prefer divided trays. We are changing key products back to divided trays, starting with Meatloaf, Beef Pot Roast and Turkey Breast Medallions, starting in mid-August.

Why do I need to remove the meal from the tray to cook it?

We know that you buy Boston Market meals when you want a delicious, fast, home-style meal. It’s not convenient to remove the meal from the tray, and in some cases it increases the cooking time. We are changing back to oven-ready trays so that you can heat up your meal in a way that is convenient for you, with quicker bake times, too. Watch for packages with new cooking instructions on shelf as early as late August.

Are there mushrooms in the Salisbury Steak gravy?

We added mushrooms to our Salisbury Steak as part of our effort to keep our recipes fresh and contemporary. But we heard from many people who prefer the traditional style, and we’re listening. We are removing mushrooms from our Salisbury Steak meals, and keeping the great flavor you love. Look for this at your grocer starting in September.

What kind of gravy is on the Meatloaf?

We changed to a tomato-based gravy for our Meatloaf meal as part of our effort to keep our recipes fresh and contemporary. But we heard from many people who prefer traditional brown gravy. We’re proud to say we’ve engaged consumers to help us find a delicious new brown gravy recipe for our Meatloaf. Look for it on shelves starting in late September.

Why are some of the Boston Market items spicy?

As part of our effort to keep our recipes fresh and contemporary, we adjusted the seasonings in some of our meals. But we heard from many people that the flavor wasn’t meeting their expectations. So we’re listening and have modified our recipes to ensure the seasonings are just right.

Why did you change the meat in your meals?

We are continuously working to bring you even higher-quality meals. We recently changed to a higher-quality choice of beef, and this may have affected the flavor and texture. We will continue to work to ensure our products all deliver the highest satisfaction for our consumers.
